Nitto SPV 224 PVC Surface Protective Film is a high -
performance solution specifically designed for the surface
protection of plate metals, particularly stainless steel. It is based
on a unique PVC film backing and coated with a special acrylic -
based adhesive, which ensures no residue remains on high - grade
surfaces after removal.

This protective film exhibits a range of outstanding features: it has
excellent deformation behaviour, lubricating behaviour, and a high
adhesion level, enabling easy application and dependable
protection. Additionally, it boasts good weatherability, easy
unwind capability, and is recyclable. What's more, it is REACH
compliant and phthalate - free, meeting rigorous environmental
and safety standards.

It finds wide application in protecting stainless steel, glass, and aluminum plates, shielding these materials from scratches, dust, and
other potential damages during transportation, storage, and processing.

In terms of specifications, the film utilizes a unique PVC film type with an acrylic - based adhesive. The total thickness is 75 um (tested
according to EN 1942). Its adhesion on BA steel reaches 140 cN/20 mm (tested via EN 1939), and its weatherability on BA steel is
750h (tested following ISO 4892 - 2). The machine direction (MD) tensile strength is 55 N/20 mm, and the MD elongation is 300% (both
tested as per EN 14410). It comes in blue transparent or clear transparent colours. For transport and storage, the recommended
conditions are a temperature of 15 to 30 °C and a relative humidity of 40 to 75% RH.
